Crypto Impact and Sustainability Accelerator

CISA furthered research for integrated, inclusive, and sustainable growth in the crypto ecosystem from January 2022 to June 2023.

Project overview

Environmental (E) Impact Pillar

Under the E Pillar, we formed the Crypto Sustainability Coalition. The Coalition is exploring how blockchain tools can be leveraged to contribute meaningful progress towards sustainability.

Social (S) Impact Pillar

In collaboration with Crypto Research and Design Lab (CRADL), we accelerated the crypto industry’s ability to be a driver for equity in society through compelling, evidence-based thought leadership.

Governance (G) Impact Pillar

We developed research and guidance for the public and private sectors and networks at the intersection of web3 and governance. Our work focused on key emerging topics, including decentralized autonomous organizations and digital ID.
