C4IR South Africa

(December 2019 - December 2023)

The Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution South Africa was established by the Minister of Science and Innovation and hosted and operated by the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).

To accelerate impact and drive change, the C4IR SA has brought together government entities, businesses, civil society and academia, and leveraged expertise in the C4IR global networks from around the world to work together, initially across four interrelated technology areas in multiple sectors: data policy, IoT, Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence.
